My certificate.

 
                      Finally i too got this. A valuable certificate of the paper presentation on the National Seminar conducted at Christ Nagar Junior Secondary School, Thiruvallam.

ABSTRACT 

Social media has gained incredible popularity over the past few years as an open source of information and knowledge sharing platform. Educational institutions are using social media space to interact with young minds. We are seeing educators leveraging the potential of social media technologies to enhance the overall teaching-learning process.


The emerging role of social media in teaching-learning process cannot be ignored. It not only provides students access to useful information but also connects them with learning groups and other educational systems that make their overall learning process more interesting and engaging.

Few ways in which social media is helping professors, students and universities are mentioned below, take a look.

With the advent of internet technology, Social media has become an integral of every student’s life. Through social networks, it is easier and convenient to exchange information, communicate with each other and stay connected. Teachers and students can use social platforms to stay connected to each other and can use it for educational purpose.

Social media is also a medium where students can establish beneficial connections for their careers. As an educational institution, it is crucial to be active in many social platforms possible, this helps create better student engagement strategies and makes learning more interactive and inclusive.

Professors can use their Twitter or Facebook handles or even messaging services such as WhatsApp to hold live sessions, offer extended support to students thereby enhancing the scope of learning beyond classroom. They can organize discussions related to their subjects or class assignments on social media platforms.  Social media therefore helps both teachers and students to remain connected off campus.

Faculty can create groups using social media where useful information can be accessed by all. It is a good platform for sharing ideas. They can use hashtags to increase outreach of their academic posts and view submissions by students to check engagement level.

One of the main reasons behind professors adapting to social media in and out of the classrooms is that they can do personal branding using social media. This helps in creating a name for them in the academic fraternity. Facebook, Twitter, various blogging sites and YouTube are some of the social channels where professors can market their expertise. These platforms are highly popular among students and hence can help in establishing high reputation.  After all, who wouldn’t want that his / her work should get recognized !

Teaching fraternity is therefore acknowledging the impact of social media on personal and professional lives.

* To develop the leadership quality among teachers and give a base to the development of the improving the teaching skill 

* To give an optimum awareness to teachers about the good and bad effects of socialmedia, while engaging with students. 

NEED AND SIGNIFICANCE
          
             The techno pedagogue is a person who sites with your teacher and helps them for the practical uses and appropriate uses of socialmedia to attain their educational goals and also to give awarness about the negative effects of socialmedia among students. So the base want to start from a teacher itself, in order to build better citizens to the coming generations.

16/12/2019 Today trainee reached school on time. Today trainee had no exam duty. So trainee did the record works.

17/12/2019 Today trainee reached school late a bit. I got morning and noon section of exam duty.

18/12/2019 Today i reached school on time. There were no exam duty today. It was the last day in GGHSS Karamana.

10/12/2019 Today trainee reached school on time. Trainee didn't got any exam duty today. So she did the record works.

11/12/2019 Today trainee reached school on time. Today trainee got the exam duty in the noon time.

12/12/2019 Today trainee reached school. There were no duty assigned. So trainee did the record works.

13/12/2019 Today trainee reached school o time. I got exam duty in the noon time. Zo i did my record works in the morning time.

2/12/2019 As usual the trainee reached school on time. there conducted a general assembly. Then after that i moved to the 9th C to take my portion. pupil are too much noisy, so that i implied an another model of activity to the class. After that i went to the substitution classes and made that day a great success.

3/12/2019 Today i reached school on time. I did the achievement test in the 9th C. They did it well.

4/12/2019 Today i reached school early. I gave the marklist of the achievement test. Every students got good mark. Some got above than others and some got below the average.

5/12/2019 Trainee reached school on time. Prepared for the revision class for the students of 8th n 9th std.

6/12/2019 Today i went to school on time. We the trainees decided to conduct a concentisation programme on the topic life style diseases.

25/11/2019-29/11/2019

2 5/11/19 trainee reached the school at 9:20 am and signed. after that trainee was busy the work preparing the notes for the students. 11:00 am in 9th C. Trainee completed the chapter " THE LAST LEAF". Later 5th period trainee went to the 8th A class. trainee took new chapter regarding THE NIGHTINGALE AND THE ROSE". Students were too much interested in the teaching leaning process. I given so many examples for to the students with the daily life experience.

26/11/19 trainee reached the school at 9:10 am and after the general assembly, trainee had class in 9th C,  at that period trainee conducted Diagnostic test distributed question paper to the students and exam started. the next period trainee took VIII A extra period and started "THE NIGHTINGALE AND THE ROSE", i need to complete the chapter before examination, so that i reduce the interacting section with the students. Trainee went to the peer evaluation in 9th A ICT class of trainee gowri it was a good class.

27/11/19 there was common assembly for the school disability  students showed there talents who were differently abled people HM gave speech on assembly after serving food in noon trainee went to 9th C  started new sub unit "THE LAST LEAF".

28/11/19 after assembly trainee had class in 8th A check previous knowledge and started "THE NIGHTINGALE AND THE ROSE and develop the lesson by asking questions and gave follow up activity.

 29/11/19 sports day was conducted after the common assembly trainee joined to help the teachers running, high jump etc were there after 11:30 fresh up time soft drinks were given. later afternoon football match between 9th and 10th standard 10th standard won the match.

18/11/2019-22/11/2019

As usual trainee had reached the school 9:15 am there was a general assembly after that trainee was busy writing record after the post lunch trainee had class in 9th C and i introduced a new chapter called 'THE LAST LEAF'. Trainee checked the previous knowledge of the students and explained   the portions and gave questions. gave review questions as well as follow up activity.

19/11/19 trainee introduced a the sub unit "THE LAST LEAF", i given some activities to enhance the students involvement. Teacher -pupil interaction was there gave review questions and follow up activity.

20/11/19 trainee came to school at 9:15 am after signed and get ready for general assembly after that trainee was busy with her work preparing notes for the students. after the lunch break trainee was busy in writing record and lesson plan. after that trainee took a the sub unit "THE LAST LEAF". Trainee checked previous knowledge and shown a video related to the atmospheric structure. which was really interesting for the students got a clear idea about the atmospheric structure shows handout and chart for developing the  lesson.

21/11/19 after that trainee reached the school at 9:15 am after signed had a general assembly. 1st period was in 9th C. Trainee took new chapter "THE LAST LEAF" and given the questions related to  this portion.

22/11/19 as usual trainee reached the school at 9:00  am after signing and general assembly trainee went to 9th C were she took the "THE LAST LEAF". She checked previous knowledge and also brush up  the lesson student were answered and was an effective class.

11/11/19 -15/11/19

11/11/19 As usual trainee reached the school at 9:15 am and signed attendance after that there was assembly inside the classroom. after the 1st period trainee got substitution in 2nd period in class 9 c ". 4th period trainee got 9th c same chapter was also continued after post lunch trainee went to class 8th A started new  lesson "ON KILLING A TREE". students were difficult to follow English language activity card and chart  to develop the lesson.

12/11/19 as usual trainee reached the school 9:10 am and after signed soon prayer started trainee went to 9th C trainee took the unit  "ON KILLING A TREE. It was a easy poem, but people of my class can't the theme well. There is a need to improve in language and teaching strategies.

13/11/19  as usual trainee reached the school 9:10 am and signed soon prayer started after that during 1st period trainee s were busy with work during 2nd period 10:10 am trainee had class in the 9th A where she took second chapter "for a safer future". after that there went to serve food for students. after the post lunch  trainee had class in 9th C,' ON killing a tree"trainee gave handout and chart to develop the class.

14/11/19 As usual trainee reached the school 9:10 am and signed soon prayer started which was a children's day there were a common assembly. children gave speech about the importance of children's day  and students got prize in samskritholsavam distributed karamana school who won overall trophy in samskrithitholsavam  after that trainee had class in 9th C" sreekutty came to visit the class.  trainee introduced the class by checking previous knowledge after the class.

15/11/19 as usual trainee reached the class after the prayer trainee went to the class 9th C and took "on killing a tree"

2nd phase 7/11/19- 8/11/19

The first day of our teaching practice started from today . all of us were eagerly waiting for the 2nd phase of teaching practice. for the teaching practice trainees selected Karamana Girls Higher secondary school. i got 9th C class later in charge teacher gave 8th A and 9th A class to handle we were three trainee Saranya p.s from social science, Karthika from English, Gowri priya from physical science. on this day we reached early after meeting HM and handover the register on this day common assembly was there conducted Tamil language to give awareness about importance of language after we are allotted  trainee had got class in 8th A and it was just an introduction section later trainee done there work which were sorted to them. it was very difficult to manage.

8/11/19 as usual trainee reached the allotted room trainee after serving food (mid day meal)trainee went to serve food after that 5th period, trainee had substitution period in class trainee went to the AV room and was busy in preparing notes and others work

School youth festival

 Today it was a nice experience for the teacher trainees and it made a great success in the training period in the CHRIST NAGAR SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL,          THIRUVALLAM. The both teacher trainees got the chance to be a panel of judgment, and it was a great success. Thank god for giving such a role in life.
